I'm trying to get my wifi driver working on alpine, but there's something I just don't understand with module loading:
/lib/firmware/rtlwifi/rtl8188eufw.bin (the one I need) exists, however I don't have anything ressembling r8188eu or rtl8188eu in /lib/modules/<kernel version>/kernel/drivers and so modprobe can't find r8188eu at all.
How do I tell the kernel to load the firmware I need ? I've installed the alpine "linux-vanilla" kernel. Do y'all gentoo/alpine users have any idea ? Cc @lanodan -
